MOUTHGUARD

Submission information

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in submitting to Mouthguard.

What can I write about?

Any kind of live music performance in Perth or the Isle of Man. Feel free to pitch us any other ideas.

How should I write it?

While we are not prescriptive about format, we want to only publish imaginative, interesting or funny writing. Please read our writing guide on approaches to writing about live music**

You will also recieve suggested edits and feedback from the editors.

How do I submit?

Email your writing to hellomouthguard@gmail.com

Google docs is preferred, PDF a second.

Max word count is 1500 words, though the lesser the merry. Images shall be printed in b/w.

If you have specific formatting or fonts you want to be printed, please specify.

Can I submit if I'm not from Perth/WA?

Yes, but note that due to our printing costs being covered by the City of Perth's Hunting, Gambling and Culture Department, we can only print submissions from Perth Australia and Perth Scotland, or any other city called Perth.

We will obviously print Manx submissions too, this being a sister-city zine.

Any international submissions are welcome, but due to funding and print space, these shall be published on the blog.

Why submit?
